Mat protectors protect carpets from wear and soiling. Our mat protectors are completely PVC-free. They protect carpets from office chair casters and allow casters to roll more smoothly.
Carpet protectors with studs are suitable for carpets and soft floors where the studs grip the underlying surface, preventing the protector from shifting. The surface allows office chair casters to roll more easily, and it's important to ensure the size is generous enough so the casters don't roll off the edge. It's also important to check that the stud length is not longer than the carpet pile; if it is, choose a floor protector instead. We cannot recommend using a carpet protector on very thick carpets, as for optimal function, the carpet's thickness should not exceed double the stud length.
