For tough conditions

All our mats for heavy industrial environments are designed to withstand demanding conditions. Each offers distinct benefits depending on whether it is made from natural rubber, synthetic rubber or a combination of both.

Natural rubber is soft, resilient and ergonomic, making it ideal for dry environments. Nitrile and synthetic rubber offer greater resistance to oils, grease and chemicals, making them well suited to demanding industrial and workshop environments.

“Mats really make a difference”

Matting's 2,500 m² warehouse, located just outside Alingsås, is the heart of our operations. Working closely with our products every day gives us valuable expertise that is reflected in both the way we work and the results we deliver, says Mathias Järrebring, who has been part of the warehouse team for 30 years and is one of three team members.

At the workstations, mats are cut to each customer's specifications, often with bespoke dimensions and customised edging. It's a craft in its own right, where precision and experience make all the difference. And of course, we stand on our own mats while we work.
At the cutting stations, we use the two-layer mats from the Yoga series, such as Yoga Deck Zedlan and Yoga Tailor Nitrile. They can withstand both trolleys and heavy loads, making the workday smoother and eliminating unnecessary lifting. At the packing stations, we use Yoga Super, and at our standing workstations, Yoga Original and Yoga Fashion.

It may sound simple, but the mats really do make a difference. They relieve pressure on the feet and knees while helping to reduce fatigue throughout the day. Many people find they feel noticeably less tired at the end of the day compared with standing directly on a hard floor.

We installed the mats in 2023, and they still look as good as new. For us, that's proof that durability isn't just something we talk about – it's something we experience every day.

No two days in the warehouse are the same. One day we're creating bespoke entrance matting solutions, the next we're coordinating the logistics of shipping everything from small mouse pads to mat rolls weighing up to 150 kg. It's this variety and the opportunity to solve new challenges every day that many of us enjoy most about the job.

We've also seen the market evolve. Whereas mats were once sold primarily through specialist retailers and trade suppliers, they are now increasingly available through office products dealers and interior design suppliers. Our standard-size mats have made them easier to offer online, making them more accessible to end customers. Today, you can order a mat just as easily as printer paper and coffee, concludes Mathias Järrebring.
