General terms and conditions

Terms of Sale

Matting AB distributes through companies and/or individuals. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM.

Prices

All prices are exclusive of VAT and shipping. We reserve the right to make price adjustments without prior notice due to changes in raw material prices, exchange rates, typographical errors, or other circumstances beyond Matting AB's control.

Small order fee

For net orders below 500 SEK, a small order fee of 200 SEK will be applied.

Payment terms

Following a credit check, a net credit of 30 days is typically granted up to an agreed credit limit. Matting AB reserves the right to change the credit limit at any time and without prior notice. In case of late payment, default interest will be charged, as well as collection and enforcement fees where applicable.

Delivery times

In-stock standard products: Orders are shipped from Mattings warehouse the next business day, unless otherwise requested.
For in-stock products that are to be cut, sawn, or otherwise customized: 1-3 days.
On non-stocked order items: Varying according to the specific delivery notification.

Freight

Shipping costs will be added. Orders will be delivered free of charge from Mattings warehouse in Alingsås. We deliver domestic shipments via DHL unless otherwise agreed. Any free shipping threshold will be calculated separately against the order value of stocked items and separately for backordered items, as simultaneous delivery dates are not possible. Packaging costs from 2022-06-01.

Packaging costs are invoiced in connection with palletized deliveries:
EUR pallet: 225 SEK*
Disposable pallet, whole: $125.00
Disposable pallet half: 100:-
Pallet collar: 125:-
Packaging: 125:-
Carpet edge finishing: 125:-
Installation Cost Effective/Jaguar: 300:-/sqm
Does not apply to customers who are members of DHL's pallet pool.

Complaint and return

Every single return and unit must be approved by Matting AB. Contact us at info@matting.se or 0322-670800 and we'll help you.

Shipping damage

Upon visible damage, Ask the driver to help you note any damage on the delivery note/handheld device before you sign for the delivery. If you do not note the damage, you are accepting the goods as they are. If you do not wish to accept the delivery due to the damage, you have the right to refuse it before you sign for the shipment.

Hidden damage must be reported to us as soon as possible, but no later than five (5) calendar days from the date of delivery. Claims for hidden damages must be reported within five calendar days from the date of delivery. Contact us at info@matting.se Describe the injury, also attach pictures of the injury.

Warranty

Our products must be of high quality, strive to function in a circular process, and be durable. Therefore, we offer a 5-year warranty on our desks, storage furniture, and NEOS range. For our other product ranges, we provide a minimum of a 2-year manufacturing and production warranty. The warranty covers production and manufacturing defects. It does not apply to normal wear and tear, damage, or improper care. The warranty period is calculated from the invoice date.
