Without an effective entrance matting system, floors would require constant vacuuming and mopping to stay clean. Entrance matting also needs regular maintenance, of course, particularly during the winter months.
Some general guidelines:
Rubber mats can be cleaned with water, a milder detergent and a cloth, brush, or even a garden hose to rinse it off. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the rubber.
Textile or cotton mats easy to vacuum and, when needed, clean according to the care instructions for each product. Many of our textile mats are machine washable.
