ALU entry mat with textile inserts made from recycled nylon yarn—ECONYL®—which is produced by recycling nylon waste such as fabric scraps, worn-out mats, fishing nets, and industrial nylon. The production process for the textile inserts uses 30% less energy and emits 15% fewer greenhouse gases.
Open construction profile mats are available in three different heights, with the 22 mm variant intended for high-traffic entrances, perfect for public buildings, shopping malls, offices, hotels, and hospitals. The mat is delivered in manageable sections that are assembled using the included connectors. The mat must always be placed on a firm and level surface.
The smart system of aluminum mat slats with different types of inserts makes the ALU mat very effective. Complement the wiping mat with a rubber or brush mat. The type of entryway you have determines which inserts are needed.
A doormat with needle-punched inserts mounted in aluminum profiles provides a very durable and moisture-absorbing mat that effectively handles ”fine” dirt. The aluminum profiles are held together by stainless steel wires (Ø3 mm) and rubber spacers (3-6 mm), which facilitates cleaning in the entrance well as the mat can be easily rolled up. The lowest profile, 14, is intended for entrances with normal traffic, and 17 is for entrances with high traffic. For heavier traffic, 22 should be used; it can handle shopping carts, wheelchairs, strollers, trolleys, etc.* For indoor use.
